The Metallurgical Laboratory consists of material testing and microscopic facilities for identifying various ferrous and non-ferrous specimens. The students are encouraged to prepare the specimen material and analyse the microstructure using microscopes of magnifications upto 1000x. The lab has specimen preparations tools, grinding & polishing machines, inverted metallurgical microscope and Rockwell hardness tester
