The UAE chapter is one of the most vibrant wings of the TKMCE Alumni network, organizing large-scale events, charity initiatives, and family gatherings even during the pandemic.

From the Desert Champions Cup football tournament and Chill family meets to the Arabian Nights desert camp, Ramadan Nilavu, Canvas kids festival, Youth Leadership Programmes, and Orumayude Onam, the chapter has stayed active throughout 2020 via virtual and in-person activities. It has also led major social initiatives like the COVID Care Centre in Dubai with capacity for around 1000 patients and the “FLY HOME by TKMCE” mission that provided free tickets to stranded people returning to Kerala.

Formed in 2016, the Singapore Alumni chapter has focused on strong community bonding and social impact, especially during COVID-19.

Despite restrictions, the chapter organized online get-togethers and extended support to people stranded in Singapore. Alumni like Mr. Shaji Philips have led efforts to ensure food supplies, medical support, and assistance to Indian students returning home. The chapter also participated in the TKM International Short Film Festival (TISFF) by creating and submitting a short film.

The US Alumni chapter focuses on strategic initiatives like the Global Alumni Gathering and strengthening the global TKM community.

The executive committee meets regularly and leads discussions with global chapters to host the Global Alumni Gathering, envisioned as a summit combining social, cultural, and academic events. The chapter is also working on its own website and membership drive to expand reach and engagement.

The Oman chapter quickly adapted to online formats, turning challenges into opportunities to involve alumni who had moved away.

Through a series of online programmes, the Oman family connected members across geographies and pioneered the first Global Musical Programme “Raganjali20”, which later inspired more global collaborations. The chapter works closely with TKMCE management and other chapters to support institutional vision and alumni bonding.

The Kuwait chapter combines strong community culture with proactive social responsibility and youth development.

Starting 2020 with a grand New Year family gathering, the chapter then focused on emotional support, welfare, and education during the pandemic. It partnered with Kuwait Engineers Forum and Indian Community Service Group for community services like food and medicine distribution and supporting students’ school fees. The “Sparkians” gavel club continued online, nurturing young speakers, and members actively participated in global programmes like Raganjali20.

The Europe Alumni group connects TKMCE graduates across mainland Europe and the UK, focusing on networking and guidance.

With regular virtual meetups, members share updates on the COVID situation, work experiences, and opportunities in European universities. The chapter supports prospective students with information and aims to build stronger business and academic networks. Members from Europe also participate in global events such as TISFF and musical programmes.

The Saudi chapter is part of the expanding TKMCE Global Alumni network in the Middle East.

The chapter collaborates with other regional groups and Global Alumni leadership to support institutional initiatives and provide a strong support system for TKMCE graduates working in the region.

The Qatar Alumni chapter is known for generous support to students, including laptop sponsorships during times of financial difficulty.

The chapter has sponsored laptops for deserving students and continues to engage actively with college initiatives. Its activities align with the broader alumni vision of giving back and supporting equity in education.
