Thermal Engineering Lab

In Thermal Engineering Laboratory, students have the opportunity to reflect and reinforce classroom theory on Conduction, Convection and Radiation by performing experiments, collecting data, and presenting results. The lab is equipped with experimental setups for measurements of heat transfer parameters, analysis of the performance of different thermodynamic systems like heat exchangers, refrigeration test rig, compressor etc. Students are trained to perform calibration of temperature sensors and determination of thermal conductivities of solids, powders and liquids.
