Department Library

The Department Library provides a spacious and resource rich environment to support the academic, research, and professional needs of faculty members and students. The collection is particularly strong in areas related to Electronics and Communication Engineering and comprises textbooks, reference books, journals, technical magazines, project reports, and seminar reports. All books prescribed in the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula are made available through the departmental library.

The library houses 3,102 volumes spanning 1,532 titles, subscribes to 15 journals and 5 technical magazines, and serves as an important learning hub for the department. The alumni of the 1987 and 1995 batches have significantly enriched the collection through generous book donations. The Neethi Memorial Book Bank, sponsored by the parents and classmates of Late Mrs. Neethi Vijayaraghavan (1987 batch alumna), further strengthens the library’s support for students.

In addition to the conventional library resources, the department maintains a Hardware Repository associated with the laboratories, which provides access to electronic components, development boards, sensors, modules, instruments, and reusable hardware platforms to facilitate laboratory experiments, student projects, and research activities. The library and hardware repository are accessible to faculty members and students during the working hours of the college, and books are issued to eligible users in accordance with departmental regulations.
