Advanced VLSI & Chip Design (AVCD) Lab
The Advanced VLSI & Chip Design (AVCD) Lab is a state-of-the-art semiconductor design facility that provides students, researchers, and innovators with access to industry-standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for the complete integrated circuit (IC) design flow. Equipped with leading platforms from Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens, Ansys, Keysight, Silvaco, Altium, and other advanced technology providers, the lab supports digital and analog IC design, verification, PCB design, physical design, TCAD simulation, signal integrity analysis, hardware validation, and system-level design. The lab serves as a center for hands-on learning, research, prototyping, and industry collaboration, enabling users to transform ideas into silicon-ready solutions while developing expertise in modern VLSI, semiconductor, and chip design technologies.
