VLSI Design Laboratory

The lab envisages a broader plan for creating an Integrated Development Environment for analog, digital and mixed signal design. State of the art facilities for design of sophisticated circuits from specification, simulation, synthesis and layout are available. It is a destiny for research scholars, post graduate and undergraduate students for carrying out their research work, projects, dissertations etc. The lab is having collaborative projects with NEST and the facilities in following segments are available for enthusiastic researchers.

Altium Nanoboard, Daughter Cards for Stepper,Traffic, DC Motor controls, Atlys Spartan 6 FPGA Board for development of digital circuits, Xilinx Software for HDL Based Design of sophisticated digital circuits.

ATHENA/ATLAS from Silvaco Inc., USA

TCAD Tool for Modeling and Simulation of state of the art quantum MOS structures in Si, GaAs, SiGe in 3D and OLEDs, OPVs, OFETs. The individual components of TCAD software consists of Quantum 2D, Organic Solar, Organic Display, TFT 2D, TFT 3D,Quantum 3D, Interactive tools Tonyplot 2D, Tonyplot 3D, Deckbuild and Devedit.
