Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines Laboratory

The main objective of the Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines Laboratory is to help students understand the various properties of fluids and for the performance testing of hydraulic machines. The lab experiments are designed to help students easily understand the theories and principles studied in Fluid Mechanics. The laboratory is equipped with equipment and experimental setups to study the fundamental and applied aspects of hydraulics and hydraulic machines, including calibration of flow measuring devices in channels and pipes. Performance analysis of various hydraulic machines such as turbines and pumps are also carried out.
