METALLURGY LAB

Metallurgy Lab

The Metallurgical Laboratory consists of material testing and microscopic facilities for identifying various ferrous and non-ferrous specimens. Students are encouraged to prepare specimen material and analyse the microstructure using microscopes of magnifications up to 1000x. The lab has specimen preparation tools, grinding & polishing machines, inverted metallurgical microscope and Rockwell hardness tester.
